For: Principals, Managers, Project Managers and Aspiring Leaders
Course Description
- Collaborative Design and Construction – Collaboration is different from cooperation and its processes are designed to leverage the skills of the entire team. Imagine an orchestra of talented musicians. In order to achieve synergy and harmony you require a score and a conductor. The collaborative process is the score, the project leader the conductor.
- Lean – Lean is about eliminating waste and achieving better project outcomes. There are many benefits of “building LEAN”, such as higher quality, superior customer satisfaction, improved productivity, and greater profitability.
- Target Value Design (TVD) – We’ve all climbed the “mountain of despair” when the estimated cost of a project exceeds the client’s budget. This leads to a series of cost cutting measures, which inevitably includes scope reductions “getting less for less”. The TVD process is designed to avoid that and to maximize the value of the client’s capital expenditure.
