ACEC-Manitoba’s Young Professionals 7th Annual Gala
The Annual ACEC-MB Young Professionals Gala will be held October 21, 2015. This year’s Gala will be held at Bergmann’s on Lombard. Don’t miss this great opportunity to build your professional network, and celebrate with other industry professionals! The event will begin with Cocktails at 6:00 PM, followed by dinner and a keynote address delivered by Dr. Gerry Price.
Dr. Gerry Price is the President and CEO of Price Industries, Gerry joined Price Industries in 1977, and over the past 30 years has held a number of positions in the contracting, information technology, manufacturing and sales divisions. He moved to Singapore in 1985 and played a major role in the start-up of their Singapore operation. In 1986, Gerry became President of Price Industries and proceeded more aggressively with growth strategies for the Price Group, including their expansion into the USA in the late 1980’s. During his tenure in the company he has launched many new product lines, factory expansions and new business units. The rapid growth of the Price Group is based on three ingredients – best-in-class service, relentless product development and providing e-commerce and multimedia marketing aides. Dr. Gerry Price was the 2013 APEGM Leadership Award recipient and has been actively involved in Manitoba through support of the University of Manitoba EITC capital campaign, the Friends of Engineering Program, among many others. He has been active within the engineering profession association as well as numerous philanthropic undertakings including a current board member for Winnipeg Jets True North Foundation.
